Support Policy for Warranty Issues
This policy applies to systems installed by Internet Systems Group, Inc. Systems installed by other are covered by a separate policy.
1. Warranty Coverage:
- All products sold by Internet Systems Group, Inc are covered by a limited warranty. This warranty is valid for a specified period from the date of purchase and is applicable to defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
2. Warranty Duration:
- The duration of the warranty varies by product and is clearly outlined in the product documentation or on the purchase receipt. Customers are encouraged to register their products online to ensure swift and efficient support.
3. No Labor Charge for Warranty Issues:
- Internet Systems Group is committed to providing quality products and stands behind their performance. As part of our commitment, there will be no labor charge for repairs or replacements covered under the warranty, during the warranty period.
4. Travel Charges:
- While labor is covered during the warranty period, customers are responsible for travel charges associated with on-site service visits. These charges include transportation costs, accommodation, and any other related expenses incurred by the service technician during the warranty service.
5. Scheduling Warranty Service:
- Customers should contact our dedicated support team to initiate the warranty service process. The support team will provide guidance on the troubleshooting steps and, if necessary, schedule an on-site service visit.
6. Acts of God Exclusion:
- The warranty does not cover damages resulting from Acts of God, including but not limited to power surges, lightning strikes, floods, earthquakes, or other natural disasters. Customers are encouraged to implement appropriate surge protection measures to safeguard their equipment.
7. Proof of Purchase:
- Customers must provide a valid proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or invoice, when seeking warranty service. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
8. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage:
- The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Any modification or unauthorized repair of the product.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents.
- Use of the product outside of the specified operating conditions.
9. Labor Billable for Non-Warranty Services:
- Labor for services not covered by the warranty, such as issues with external systems (including existing magnetic locks), will be billable at the prevailing service rates. Customers will be provided with a detailed estimate before any billable services are performed.
10. Limitation of Liability:
- Internet Systems Group, Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product covered by this warranty.
11. Governing Law:
- This warranty is governed by the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes arising from the warranty or its terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiation or, if necessary, in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction.
12. Policy Revisions:
- Internet Systems Group, Inc reserves the right to update or modify this support policy at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes through the company website or other official communication channels.
