Installation Cables
In some cases it’s easier to use different cables than care supplied with the system. If the hole is big enough you can use HDMI or USB cables and remove the HDMI or USB to network converters. Direct connections are always better, but are generally limited to a maximum length of 25′.

Provides more reliable and consistent reads than the HID scanner used in earlier systems (Standard in Mark 6+ units).
